MICHAEL ELY -
Founder, CEO MRKE Enterprises, LLC

Michael Ely served in Viet Nam in 1967, 68, and 69. After leaving the Air Force, he worked as a Program Manager at Harris Semiconductor where he managed the Avionics System for the F-16, the fire control system for the Trident Submarine, the guidance system for the Peacekeeper missile and other DoD and commercial programs.

In 1986 he went to work at the Kennedy Space Center where he lead the development and implementation of the Shuttle Connector Analysis Network (SCAN) from a paper tracking system to an automated computer tracking system within the Test Project Engineering (TPE) group. He then accepted a position in the IT Directorate, where he developed and implemented the Project Administration Procedure for Project Initiation, Project Performance Tracking, and Project Closure which provided management with an insight into actual performance measured against projected technical, schedule, cost, and risk projections.

MRKE Enterprises provides certified Project Management (PMI®) training to qualify applicants in preparing them to take their PMP®, ACP®, and RMP® certification exams and provides consulting and training in all areas of Project Management to your company along with Package Design/Development and Manufacturing including logistics and shipping.

DR. STEPHEN SCHNEIDER -

Stephen M. Schneider, Ph.D. worked at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida from 1980 to 2010, leading a variety of software projects to create software applications supporting Space Shuttle ground operations. Those applications included systems organizing the production of flight critical Lithium Hydroxide air purification cartridges (used on both the Shuttle and Space Station), the Quick Disconnect hardware (used to transfer hypergolic propellants), and the Problem Reporting System (used to initiate repair on heat shield tiles after each mission). Those software systems won a variety of NASA Space Act and other awards and were featured in NASA publications. 

​Dr. Schneider is a member of the Project Management Institute holding Project Management Professional (PMP®), Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA®), Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP®), and Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP®) certifications.

Robert Ely has worked in the Packaging/Logistic environment since he was in college. He has a thorough knowledge of packaging and logistics requirements, and has experience in packaging and shipping a package across town to halfway around the world.

​Robert has a BS in Packaging and a Minor in Sustainability from the University of Florida and is working toward his MBA.  Mr. Ely has provided direction to packaging engineers and analysts while he  managed the prototyping, sourcing, modifications, and maintenance of internal racks for stamping, body assembly, and fascia for Nissan vehicles.  He has directed the modification of Intermodal shipping containers including tiered internal roller conveyor systems with vibration suppression and validation for container type including engineering and logistics set-up for containers/shipments for Nissan and other companies.

Robert was part of a cross functional team with Kraft foods tasked with developing a prototyping heat sealing machine  to seal non-uniform surface thickness in flexible packing applications. 

In addition to working with Kraft foods, Robert has worked on projects for Medtronic NPD, Champion Brands, Nissan Corporation, Tervis Tumbler, and SAFT Batteries.
